Spotlight on the Customer: Diverse PowerCpak has worked with Diverse Power on several projects including completing a security audit, implementing a security solution and redesigning their network architecture. Cpak is an ongoing consultant for their technology needs. Joey McCartney, IT Director, is pictured here in their server room.“I really like having someone local with so much talent. It is great to be able to pick up the phone or send an email and have a response almost immediately. Cpak assists me with current projects as well as introducing me to new technologies. Their customer events bring the technology to me instead of me having to go out-of-town. The staff is always friendly and professional. It is a pleasure doing business with Cpak.” —Joey McCartney, IT Director
Focused Solution: Network Admission ControlEnforce your organization's security policies on all services seeking network access. Cisco Network Admission Control (NAC) allows only compliant and trusted endpoint devices, such as PCs, servers, and PDAs, onto the network, restricting the access of noncompliant devices, and thereby limiting the potential damage from emerging security threats and risks. Cisco NAC gives organizations a powerful, roles-based method of preventing unauthorized access and improving network resilience.
Cisco NAC can be deployed in all infrastructure scenarios, including corporate LAN, WAN, wireless, and remote access (VPN). The Cisco NAC Appliance is the recommended deployment solution for most customers. It provides network administrators the ability to authenticate, authorize, evaluate, and remediate wired, wireless, and remote users and their machines prior to network access. It identifies whether networked devices such as laptops, IP phones, or game consoles are compliant with your network's security policies and repairs any vulnerabilities before permitting access to the network.
