IBM Lunch & Learn:  A Great Success

Over 60 invitees arrived at the newly built LaGrange Carmike Cinema 10 in historic downtown LaGrange to attend the IBM Lunch and Learn hosted by Cpak on March 14. The topic was e-mail archiving and all were anxious to hear IBM’s solutions.

Our first speaker was Mike Ruff, IBM Software Sales Representative for Business Partners, who specializes in Information Management.  He spoke about why businesses need e-mail archiving and IBM’s solution. After a short intermission, class was reconvened to hear Alan Kunig, IBM Consulting Systems Engineer, explain how Tivoli Data Protection for Mail provides backup and recovery of Exchange or Domino environments, and how IBM's Common Stor and Content Management offerings perform Information Lifecycle Management.

A luncheon followed these presentations in the atrium of our beautiful building at 133 Main Street.
